How the generator builds each palette

Colors are generated in OKLCH, which separates perceived lightness, chroma and hue. Each result is mapped into the sRGB gamut so its HEX and RGB values work in common browsers and design tools.

Auto or color theory

Auto scores multiple candidates for balance and variety. Color theory uses a relationship such as analogous, complementary or triadic.

Keep what works

Lock favorite colors, edit their values and reorder the palette. Generate again to replace only the unlocked colors.
