How protection works

A password is required to open the new copy

Your PDF is encrypted on this device and saved as a separate file protected by the password you choose.

{{ item[0] }}

{{ item[1] }}

This protects the PDF against opening without the password. It cannot prevent screenshots or copying after someone opens the file, and it does not add a digital signature.
